Solas Festival is an all-age weekend with a vivid mix of music, debate, theatre, comedy, film and visual art. Reaching out to create a hospitable space where all sorts of people can go to debate, create, perform or just enjoy the vibes. It’s rooted in Scotland, but warmly welcoming to an international festival public from within and beyond the UK. The Solas Festival is held in the grounds of Wiston Lodge, a residential centre in the Scottish borders. Wiston is a small village situated in the upper Clyde Valley near Lanark and Biggar. It is easily accessible for the north of England and Northern Ireland. The 52-acre site has ample room for camping amidst spectacular and beautiful countryside.
