Anti-Vigilante

Anti-Vigilante are a four-piece ska punk band from Milton Keynes, United Kingdom. Formed in 2004, they are active in the UK punk and ska scene and their sound combines skacore with harder hardcore influences.

The band plays extensively across the UK and performs alongside acts including Random Hand, The Flatliners, Ghost of a Thousand and Sonic Boom Six. They also tour nationally with The Skints, We Are The Union, The JB Conspiracy and Dirty Revolution, and appear on bills with Capdown, Leftover Crack and Strung Out.

Anti-Vigilante release a debut album titled Secure Beneath the Watchful Eyes, which receives positive response from audiences and zines. They also plan a second album to be recorded at the end of 2011, following a period away from activity in the first half of that year after the death of drummer Oli Smith.

The band’s style draws on both the UK skacore tradition and low-end hardcore noise, giving their music a more aggressive edge within the genre.
