Allo Darlin' is a British indie pop band from the United Kingdom, based in London and active from 2008 to 2016. The group consists of Elizabeth Morris, Bill Botting, Mikey Collins and Paul Rains. It also has links to Australia through Morris and Botting.

Career

The band begins playing seriously in January 2009, although Elizabeth Morris has already been releasing music under different names since 2007. Their first single for Fortuna Pop! is “The Polaroid Song”, released in December 2009. It enters the Drowned in Sound Top 50 Singles of the Year and draws strong reviews.

Their self-titled debut album appears on Fortuna Pop! in 2010. It is preceded by the single “Dreaming” in March of that year and is recorded at Soup with producer Simon Trought, underneath the Duke of Uke shop in Brick Lane. Their second album, Europe, is released in 2012, and their third album, We Come from the Same Place, follows in 2014.

The band splits at the end of 2016. In January 2023, they announce a reunion for a few gigs in England, their first performances in six years.
