A Thousand Enemies

A Thousand Enemies is a UK heavy metal, hard rock and metalcore group active since 2011. The band forms in the summer of that year from the remains of Isolysis and Two Minutes Hate, and its line-up includes Bane on vocals, Dave “RickStein” Wright on drums, Harwood on guitar, Andy “Snakes” Goulter on bass and Phil Wilbraham on guitar.

The group’s first period of activity is marked by quick progress: by October 2011 it completes several songs and previews its debut single, “And Nothing Remains”. The track quickly attracts attention and leads to interest from promoters and venues across the country.

Sound and influences

The band’s influences include Skid Row, Mötley Crüe, In Flames, Alter Bridge, Joe Satriani, Killswitch Engage and Forever Never. Its sound is described as combining Wilbraham’s classic rock style with Harwood’s modern metal approach, alongside Bane’s distinctive vocals.
