Scotland’s nightclub under the stars returns with an impressive first line-up release, featuring world class DJ’s who will be descending upon the banks of Loch Ness on 20th August 2016.

Scotland’s most iconic festival location is set to welcome DJ and acclaimed producer DUKE DUMONT in a Scottish festival exclusive. Best known for his no.1 singles ‘Need U (100%)’ and ‘I Got U’ along with his other summer smash hits ‘Won’t Look Back’ and ‘Ocean Drive’, which have amassed hundreds of millions of streams online, Duke Dumont is guaranteed to round off the 1-day event with a hands-in-the-air performance.

Joining him on the bill is German DJ Alexander Ridha, better known by his stage name BOYS NOIZE. Having not performed in the Highlands since 2011, and with a new album scheduled for release in April, he will no doubt make a very welcome return to the north of Scotland.

Also announced are Grammy-nominated DJ/producer MARK KNIGHT, head honcho at Toolroom Records, who boasts a career spanning more than a decade and a solid reputation on both the digital market and dance floors across the globe, and Glasgow based OPTIMO who sit at the very epicentre of the Scottish clubbing consciousness. Originating from their weekly residency at Sub Club, which was widely regarded as one of the most important and ground-breaking clubs of the past 10 years (at one point earning them the prestigious title of Mixmag “Club of the Year”), the duo’s eclectic taste and passion consistently influences electronic music tastes around the globe.

Completing the first wave of acts are hot new production/DJ duo CAMELPHAT who have been gathering support from all over the world of house music including Pete Tong, Carl Cox, Tensnake, Mark Knight, Yousef, Gorgon City, Nervo, Solomun, MK, Sasha, Annie Mac, Steve Angello & Danny Howard to name but a few.

There is also a very special guest to be announced shortly who are sure to be a firm favourite for festival goers.

‘We are delighted to announce the line-up for Groove Loch Ness 2016 and being able to welcome an amazing selection of DJ’s to the Highlands again this summer to what is one of the most breathtaking festival settings anywhere in the world.’ Dougie Brown (Partner Groove Loch Ness)

‘After the huge success of our first outing we can’t wait to recreate some of that magic again this year, expect another incredible visual show from our friends at Double Take Projections and Limelights along with a few other surprises along the way!’
