Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival 2016: Full Line up Announced

The opening night will be headlined by one of the biggest Hip Hop artists of all time - De La Soul.

They will be arriving in Moseley Park with the full live band in tow. Expect to hear all the classics including 'The Magic Number', 'Me, Myself & I' & 'Eye Know'.  They will be joined by the equally legendary Grandmaster Flash and Blackalicious to make Friday night unmissable for classic Hip Hop fans. 

They will also be joined by Nubiyan Twist, Wyles & Simpson, Alternative Dubstep Orchestra, Bostin' Brass & Call Me Unique.

On Saturday, We'll be welcoming back our Saturday night curator, compere, DJ and party instigator, BBC 6 Music's Funk & Soul legend - Craig Charles!

He'll be joined by the creators of his funk anthem "Pick Up The Pieces" - Average White Band - as Saturday night headliners. 

The line up is completed by Hot 8 Brass, Fatima & The Eglo Band, Pete Josef, The Stone Foundation, Jack Tyson Charles, Zoe Gilby, Lucas D & The Groove Ghetto.

On Sunday night we'll be welcoming back two legends of the Funk & Soul world. George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic return to Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul following their phenomenal performance back in 2012. We'll also be welcoming back Booker T who headlined in 2011. That's right! Two classic headliners on one day! 

They will also be joined by Mercury nominated Eska, Trope, Birmingham Jazz Orchestra, Blind Monk Trio, Bryan Corbett Quartet, KOCO, Daj Dook & Jazzlines Ensemble.
