Providing the soundtrack on Saturday will be soul singer and winner of iTunes Album of the Year 2012, Lianne La Havas, along with hip hop wonderkids Rizzle Kicks and legendary dance duo Basement Jaxx. While on Sunday, Take That’s Mark Owen is set to perform tracks from his hotly tipped new album, alongside the BRIT-Award winning singer KT Tunstall and pop-purveyor’s The Feeling. Saturday will also see performances from Norwegian sensation Bernhoft, classic 90’s power pop band Dodgy, pioneering British DJ Norman Jay and the ever eccentric Cuban Brothers, while Sunday festival-goers can look forward to actor Laurence Fox showcasing his acoustic talents and an infectious summer set from London rockers The Milk.

Chart topping music acts aside, The Big Feastival also features an incredible selection of the UK’s finest food producers and a stellar bill of the nation’s top chefs. Over in the Electrolux Big Kitchen, Jamie’s mentor and Italian legend Gennaro Contaldo, culinary maestro Bruno Loubet, star of TV’s ‘The Little Paris Kitchen’ Rachel Khoo, top British chef Valentine Warner, Supper Club sensation Sabrina Ghayour and talented foodie Gizzi Erskine will all take to the stage to cook up a storm alongside the man himself, Jamie Oliver.  Scotland’s youngest Michelin starred chef Tom Kitchin,  former Roux Scholar and Bocuse d’Or entrant Simon Hulstone and young guns Jonray and Peter Sanchez Iglesias from Bristol’s boundary pushing Casamia restaurant will also be cooking up a storm at the festival.

In between watching the experts in action, visitors can delve to new depths of culinary delight down ‘Street Food Alley’, tucking into an exciting menu of dishes featuring the best of the British street food scene. Highlights include Asian steamed buns from double award winning Yum Bun, mouthwatering meatballs from The Bowler and Napoli inspired street food from Pizza Pilgrims.

It’s not just about tasting great food, festival goers can get stuck in with a whole host of hands-on foodie features including the Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets Cooking Classes, the Weber BBQ Experience, The Table Sessions and of course, the return of Alex James’s very own Cheese Hub. What’s more, they can shop till they drop from an award winning selection of artisan producers and boutique brands.

Brand new for 2013, The Big Feastival is delighted to welcome TV personality and the nation’s favourite farmer Adam Henson with his incredible Cotswold Farm Park to the Little Dudes Den.  Furry and feathered friends aside, big kids and little ones will find fun and games galore with an action-packed family programme of activities including art and craft workshops, kids’ kitchen masterclasses, country fayre games, welly wanging, bubble shows, a vintage funfair and the return of our haystack mountain. Children’s TV favourite, Justin Fletcher from CBeebies, will also be taking to the main stage for a very special Sunday afternoon live performance of his biggest hits.
