Tenterden Folk Festival
Family friendly and designed for festival goers of all ages Tenterden Folk Festival has been offering fun, quintessentially English street and folk festivals for many years. True to its heritage the town is awash with folk and traditional musicians, Morris Dancers and much more during the four days of the festival.
Taking over the many listed buildings, pubs and clubs of the town, as well as the streets, Tenterden Folk Festival is friendly and fun and attracts many locals and visitors too. This year’s line-up already includes 60 Morris sides who will be showing off their skills and many different types of Morris dancing. There are also singing workshops and folk trains and a traditional English Barn Dance.
In terms of musicians many acts have already been confirmed including: Phoenix Dance Band, Scoulds Bridle, The Sussex Folk Orchestra, The Yardarm Folk Orchestra with more still to be announced.
