Southern Fried Festival
With a mission to create buzz, a great atmosphere and entertainment in Perthshire and beyond, the Southern Fried Festival has been around since 2008 and celebrates American Roots Music, from both musicians born and bred in the States as well as locally in Scotland.
The event is held mainly in the Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre other venues across the area are included and crucially the venues can be walked between with ease. The Southern Fried Festival is now in its eighth year and is packed full of fantastic music to enjoy.
This year’s line-up includes many great acts including Punch Brothers, McCrary Sisters, The Fairfield Four and Rhiannon Giddens. The festival will also feature a celebration of the songs of Dolly Parton. The festival is a chance to enjoy the spirit of America in the heart of Scotland.
