A week of fantastic folk music has been a popular and much-loved event in Sidmouth for decades. 2016 actually marks the 63rd year of Sidmouth Folk Week and it has been organised for 4th until 11th August. The festival takes place at a wide range of different venues across the centre of Sidmouth and also on the seafront.

There are no acts confirmed for Sidmouth 2017 yet. However there will be a huge range of folk music to enjoy as well as ceilidh dances, social dances, workshops, displays, processions, craft events and a fun themed event for the children. There is camping arranged too, at a campsite just a short way from the seafront.
