Shetland Folk Festival

2017 will see the 37th outing for Shetland Folk Festival and it will be held between 27th and 30th April. The festival will bring together a range of different venues across the area including a dedicated Festival Club in Islesburgh Community Centre in Lerwick. Formal and informal concerts will run throughout the festival and this is a small non-profit organisation offering something fantastic and much loved to its local community.

The Shetland Folk Festival has no line-up for 2017 but it will bring together both concerts and workshops as well as dedicated session rooms, stalls and plenty of food and drink. There is a dedicated programme for younger festival goers too.
