About Rockore Music Festival
Rockore Music Festival began at Lochore Meadows Country Park in 2017. For 2027, it returns on Saturday 21 August as an 18+ outdoor music day run by Benarty Events Group. It runs for one day.
The music leans into rock and indie, with 1980s pop, club classics, dance anthems and tribute sets also in the mix. The 2022 return after a three-year COVID interruption drew over 4,000 people.
Who Is It For?
Rockore is an adult event, with 18+ entry. The crowd is local and regional, drawn by rock, ska, indie and nostalgia-heavy dance anthems rather than a family-field set-up.
Food and drink stalls run on site, and camping-chair seating is permitted in designated areas. The age rule is 18+ to attend.
The Venue and Site
Lochore Meadows Country Park puts the festival in a Fife outdoor site with the Willie Clarke Centre, toilets, a cafe and an electric vehicle charging point in the main car park. A second live music area was added in 2026, including the Big Red Beard stage.
The wider park also has a play park, golf course, Outdoor Education Centre and motorhome parking. Rockore does not run official camping; Lochore Meadows separately allows motorhome overnight stays, while caravans, tents and roof tents are not permitted. Disabled toilets are at the front of the arena.
