About Pop Mutations x Tiny Changes
The first Pop Mutations x Tiny Changes ran in 2025 as a one-night, six-venue programme with 20 artists. The format changed quickly. The 2026 edition runs 13–14 November as a two-day music festival across The Old Hairdressers, Mono, The Glad Café and Stereo in Glasgow.
Its focus is independent music in grassroots rooms, with profits donated to Tiny Changes. The festival also ties its bill to venue support, female and non-binary representation, and young people’s mental health.
Lineup and Programme
The bill sits in independent music. Announced acts include Kathryn Joseph, Rozi Plain, The Pastels and Billy Nomates.
The undercard is venue-specific. Friday pairs Kathryn Joseph with Kathryn Williams at The Old Hairdressers, and Rozi Plain with Malcolm Middleton and HMS Morris at Mono. Saturday has Billy Nomates, Haiver and Bikini Body at Stereo.
Re-Charge runs on Saturday afternoon at The Old Hairdressers, folding guided breathing into artist conversation before an audience Q&A. Venue capacities run from roughly 110 to 300, while Re-Charge is capped at 20 tickets.
Who Is It For?
The age limit is 18+ across the festival. The crowd is for independent-music fans in small rooms, with an added pull for people interested in wellbeing, community and gender-balanced programming.
All events are ticketed separately. Confirmed ticket tiers run from £18.50 to £21.50, with a £1 Venue Support Levy included for participating grassroots venues.
The Venue and Site
There is no single arena. The site is four indoor grassroots venues: The Old Hairdressers, Mono, The Glad Café and Stereo.
Shows are split room by room across Glasgow, with capacities in the 110–300 range. Participating venues have bars/cafes and accessible venue facilities, and low- and no-alcohol drink options are part of the setup.
