Do you like your metal heavy?  Head to Brighton for the Mammothfest 2017.  Ever since it was established in 2009, Mammothfest has been an important event in the metal music community's calendar and this year's events proves to be even bigger and better than previous years.  

With hundreds of world famous bands from the genre and an impressive array of new talent hitting the two stages over the three days, it looks set to be a stomper of a weekend at Brighton beach.  

Over the course of the three days, each themed and featuring a particular subgenre of heavy metal music, there are hundreds of bands - new and famous alike including many exclusive UK performances from the likes of:

TRAIN:

Gatwick: 30 mins

London Victoria: 1hr

Portsmouth: 1hr 15 mins

St Pancras: 1hr 15 mins

Southampton: 1 hr 45 mins

The venue is only about 10 minutes walk to the seafront from Brighton railway station. 

CAR:

From the North:

If you are travelling from Croydon and London, you need to take the M23 and then the A3 South.  It should only take around 45 minutes from the M25.

From the West:

If you are travelling from Southampton, you need to take the M27 east and continue along that road.

If you are travelling from Portsmouth, you just head along the A27.

From the East:

If you are travelling from either Ashford or Dover the quickest way to get to Mammothfest is by taking the M20 and heading towards London, taking a sight left to get on the M26 before it merges with the M25 and then when you reach Junction 7, you take the M23 exit for Brighton, Crawley and Gatwick.  Continue driving along the M23 and then onto the A23 and you will get there in no time.

There are regular connections by coach from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports and cities such as Portsmouth, Southampton and London.
