About Love to be...in the park
The Music Factory in Sheffield is where Love to be... started in 1994. For 2027, Love to be...in the park takes the name to Thoresby Park, Nottingham on 5 June. It is an open-air, one-day music festival built around house and disco house.
The parent brand marked its 30th birthday in 2024 with an official 30th Birthday FSTVL. This Thoresby Park edition is a new day-festival offshoot. It runs for one day.
Lineup and Programme
The bill leans into house and disco house. Music runs across three stages, including a LOVEZOO-hosted stage, with street food and a VIP area also part of the site.
Who Is It For?
The audience is adult: 18+ only. Musically it sits with house and disco-house crowds, including long-running Love to be... followers and people coming to the brand through the park edition. As an 18+ event, it is not a family festival.
The Venue and Site
The setting is parkland. Thoresby Park covers 150 acres of parkland, woodland and gardens, with the festival running as an open-air day event on the estate.
Festival facilities include street food vendors and a VIP area. The wider estate also has courtyard shops and a café, the Royal Lancers and Nottinghamshire Yeomanry Museum, and parkland trails.
