Lichfield Festival has been delivering a diverse music and arts programme to the town for 34 years and it takes place over two weeks using the Cathedral and the Garrick Theatre as its main venues. Over 70 events are planned including live music, literature events, theatre and performance art. There is also a programme of children’s and educational activities and two large free events incorporated into the festival.

The music programme already includes a large number of artists such as The Sacconi Quartet, Amy Harman, BBC Big Band, Chethams School, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra With Lahav Shani & Jennifer Pike, Jonathan McGovern, Joseph and Maia, Julian Lloyd Webber With Jiaxin Lloyd Webber, Septura Brass, Soh-Yon Kim, The Three Belles & The Bevin Boys, and Yuanfan Yang.
