About Isle of Wight Festival
17–20 June 2027, Isle of Wight Festival takes place at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight as a music festival covering rock, pop, electronic and indie.
1968 was the first Isle of Wight Festival. The 1970 edition drew more than 600,000 attendees, with Jimi Hendrix and The Doors among the headliners. The festival was relaunched in 2002 by promoter John Giddings, and 2027 marks the 25th festival since that revival.
