Folkfest
A fun and free acoustic folk festival which takes over several venues in the Somerset town of Burnham-on-Sea. The festival has been going since 2006, offering the town plenty of traditional and contemporary folk music and free activities throughout the whole weekend. Alongside live music there are workshops, dancers, food and drink, exhibitions and market stalls.
In 2015 Folkfest is in its 10th year and it’s back with three whole days of acoustic music and folk music fun for FREE in Burnham-on-Sea. Over 90 acts will be there including: Coco & The Butterfields, Zen Hussies, Calico Jack, The Leylines, Ninebarrow, Steve Turner, Missin’ Rosie, The Thatchers, The Sea Kings, Mac Seka, Darren Hodge, De-Malebysse, Johnny Campbell, Hedgepig, Rosie Eade Band, Fly Yeti Fly, Wildwood Kin, Harry & The Gondolas, Tim Holehouse, Eleanor Dillon, Higher Beings, Marky Jay, The Winkers, Vermin, Daft Folk, Sam Patten and more.
