Creation Day Festival is the brainchild of Creation Records founder Alan McGee, who has curated the line-up and event. It is a celebration of the label and the man's legacy in music and features some of the biggest and best acts he has worked with throughout his career.
All the music takes place at West Park in Wolverhampton during the May Bank Holiday weekend and acts performing include The Happy Mondays, Black Grape, Cast, Echobelly, Echo & The Bunnymen, Ash, Glasvegas, The Wedding Present and many more.
The event was due to take place in 2021, but because of the ongoing restrictions and concerns regarding the Covid-19 health crisis, the organisers made the painful decision of moving it to 20222. So, the anticipation for this event is growing day by day, week by week.
