Brighton Festival 2017 will be the 51st time this famous and popular Brighton event gets an outing. It has been confirmed for 6th until 28th May 2017 and it is a showcase for all of the arts, including music but also theatre, dance, literature and more. It takes over the city and in 2017 the guest director is poet and performer Kate Tempest.

Tempest will use the festival as an opportunity to explore her interests and passions. The programme will involve a wide range of artists from many backgrounds and in many different genres of music and arts. It will feature commissions, exclusives and premieres as well as many one off live gigs. World and UK artists always attend and love their time at Brighton Festival. The festival begins with the children’s parade and continues to provide activities for the youngest festival goers throughout.
