The 2017 Banbury Folk And Hobby Horse Festival is actually the 18th and sadly the final year run by the original organisers, Derek and Mary Droscher, as they are retiring.  However, there are plans for the baton to be passed on and the event to continue, though it is not clear in what guise that will be.
