Zoe Rahman is a British jazz composer and pianist from Chichester, United Kingdom. Born in 1971, she works in jazz and is known for composing and performing on piano.

Career

In 1999, Rahman wins the Perrier Young Jazz Musician of the Year award. Her debut trio album, The Cynic, is shortlisted for the BBC Radio 3 jazz album of the year review in 2001, and she is also nominated in the BBC Jazz Awards’ Rising Star category that year.

Albums and recognition

Rahman’s second album, Melting Pot, is nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2006.
