Zatox

Zatox is the stage name of Gerardo Roschini, an Italian hardstyle DJ and producer from Tivoli, Italy. Born in 1975, he works in the hardstyle genre and is also associated with the labels Unite Records and Italian Hardstyle.

Career

His career begins in the late 1990s, when he develops a personal sound that combines elements of Italian art music with hard dance music. He records under several names, including Supaboyz, Smashing Guys, Ironblood, Zairon and Machine Head, before becoming established in the hardstyle scene.

Zatox appears at major hardstyle events including Defqon.1, Qlimax, Q-Base, Hard Bass, Decibel Outdoor and InQontrol. He also works regularly with other producers, forming acts such as Tat & Zat, Wild Motherfuckers with Tatanka, and Act & Zat, and collaborating with The Prophet.

Labels and projects

In 2010, he sets up Italian Hardstyle, a label that releases music by Zatox himself as well as Tatanka, Davide Sonar, Vamper, Maxter and The R3bels. Italian Hardstyle operates as a sister label to Scantraxx. He also runs Unite Records. His listed groups include Wild Motherfuckers and Tat & Zat.
