Young Rebel Set is an English indie rock band from Stockton-on-Tees. The group is active from 2007 and performs as a trio consisting of Matt Chipchase, Luke Evans and Mark Evans.

The band was formerly known as Billy The Kid And The Brothers Barbaylios and is made up of members from three now-defunct North East bands: The Lurios, Whalter and The Romance.

Their music is described in terms of tough-love stories, hard luck and romance, with a sound that combines gritty urban folk, indie rock and folk rock. Writing about the band has compared their songs to the work of Springsteen and Dylan, and has also linked them to a raw, honest and uplifting style of performance.
