Yossarian

The name also appears across several different acts, including a hardcore band from Bellingham, Washington; a Memphis instrumental band; a Manchester singer-songwriter linked to the Slick Nine Records collective; and a Manchester electronic duo.

Related acts and projects

One Yossarian project is described as a Victorian dub and psychedelia act with a steam-driven, London-focused image. Related projects include Elegant Time, which combines psychedelic pop with Northern Soul and electro rhythms, and Spidersweb, which is noted for deep dub-influenced bass.

Another Yossarian is a hardcore band from Bellingham, Washington. That group releases the Shit Done Changed Demo in 2005 and performs in Washington state and British Columbia before breaking up about a year later. Members later go on to play in Shook Ones, Dragline, Brownes Condition, Envision, Bowlcut, EllenOprah, So Adult and Roanoke.

A further Yossarian is a Memphis-based instrumental band whose members are Chris Ash on keys and guitar, Alyosha Downing on bass, Kilian Downing on guitar, and Asher Williams on drums. That group releases one self-titled album. The name also belongs to a Manchester-based singer-songwriter in the Slick Nine Records collective, and to a Manchester electronic duo made up of Ange Cunvin on vocals and Paul Melling on programming. The duo is unsigned.
