Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Yeah Yeah Yeahs are an American alternative rock band formed in New York City in 2000. The group consists of vocalist Karen O, guitarist Nick Zinner and drummer Brian Chase.
The band first signs to Touch and Go Records and later releases its first four studio albums on Interscope. Its recorded output includes five studio albums and an EP.
Releases
Their debut album, Fever to Tell, appears in 2003. Show Your Bones follows in 2006 and is named the second best album of the year by NME. It’s Blitz! is released in 2009, and Mosquito follows in 2013. Cool It Down is released through Secretly Canadian in 2022. The band also releases a self-titled EP in 2002.
Recognition
The first three studio albums receive Grammy Award nominations for Best Alternative Music Album.
