Yazz Ahmed is a British jazz composer and trumpeter from Carshalton, United Kingdom, born in 1983. She works within experimental jazz, psychedelic jazz, spiritual jazz and world fusion, and her music is also associated with Arabic jazz and jazz fusion.

She has collaborated with Radiohead and Lee “Scratch” Perry. Her debut album, Finding My Way Home, appears in 2011. She also releases La Saboteuse in 2017, an album that draws on Arabic jazz and prompts comparisons with Miles Davis’ Bitches Brew.
