Wye Oak is an indie rock duo from Baltimore, United States, made up of Jenn Wasner and Andy Stack. The group forms in 2006 and is still active. It first uses the name Monarch before adopting Wye Oak, a reference to Maryland’s honorary state tree.

The duo’s music sits within dream pop, indie folk and indie rock, with links to shoegaze, alt-country, folk and noise.
