Wren

Wren is a four-piece experimental post-metal band from London, United Kingdom, active since 2013. The group is also described as a sludge metal act, with genres including atmospheric sludge metal, metal, noise, post-metal and sludge metal.

The band is signed to Holy Roar Records. Its sound is placed in the post-core and sludge area, with comparisons made to early Isis. The debut album Auburn Rule is released through Holy Roar Records.

Other artists using the name Wren include a trip hop and electronica project by Cody Weber, a pop-metal band from Brisbane, Australia, and a solo alias used by Fields frontman Nick Peill.
