We Three and the Death Rattle

We Three and the Death Rattle are a UK indie rock group. They form as a three-piece and work in a distortion-heavy style that is also described in terms of garage rock, psychedelic rock, alternative rock and indie rock.

Releases

The group release their debut album, WTATDR, on CD and download through PAW// PURR in 2014. Before that, they issue the 7-inch singles Inpatients/Split Lips and Hey Detonator!, as well as the demo Double or Quits.

Broadcasts and press attention

Their singles and demo attract airplay on BBC 6 Music, Amazing Radio, XFM and Frank Skinner’s Absolute Radio show. Double or Quits is named XFM X-Posure’s “Hot One” for a week. The group also receive notice in The Guardian and Dazed & Confused.

Live activity

They play live in session on XFM with John Kennedy shortly after forming. They also appear at John Kennedy presents: The Remedy and are picked by Josh T Pearson and ATP for a performance at London’s Barbican in an event billed as an evening with Josh T Pearson and friends. The group share stages with The Kills, Craig Finn of The Hold Steady, Bo Ningen, The Wytches, Shonen Knife, Come, Josh T Pearson, Slaves and Chrysta Bell. They also play their first French shows in Paris in 2013.
