We happy few are a 4 piece band from west london who combine double bass, piano, guitar, vocals, ukulele, accordion and occasional banjo to make blues tinged folk rock music.
'We Happy Few are in the process of writing a 12 song concept album. The story is set in 19th Century America and is currently entitled 'The Trials and Tribulations of Billy ‘the black jack’ Donahue.' The songs combine to tell a fictional story of love, money and, eventually, murder. Will our fictional hero’s love of gold be the death of him? Can our heroin break the shackles of her aggressive outlaw husband? Stay tuned to find out.'
