Voodoo Vegas

Voodoo Vegas are a hard rock band from Bournemouth on the south coast of England. Formed in 2006, they perform as a five-piece group and play a high-energy blend of rock and blues rock.

Career

The band tours across the UK and appears on radio, including Total Rock FM and other stations. They also feature in music press such as Classic Rock and NME. Voodoo Vegas play major venues including the Opera House and Mr Kyps, and they support higher-profile acts on the live circuit.

They share stages with bands such as The Quireboys, Ginger and Waysted, as well as many UK rock tribute acts. They also tour the UK with American Dog.

Line-up and recordings

The group’s original compositions are led by Lawrence Case on vocals and harmonica, Nick Brown on guitar, acoustic guitar and backing vocals, Ash Moulton on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Chris Mackonochie on drums. Merylina Hamilton joins as a female guitarist, adding extra rhythm and lead guitar parts to the live sound.

Their live album records the band at Mr Kyps with this five-piece line-up and marks their first live recording in that formation. It captures them headlining one of the South Coast’s main rock venues and presents the band in a live setting.
