Career
She has worked in music in various roles for most of her life. Before DJing full-time, she reaches Grade 6 on piano, plays classical guitar, sings in a school group, and later works as a club reviewer and interviewer for Dream and Eternity magazines. She also dances on stage and works in promotional roles for UK events before learning to mix after college and moving behind the decks.
Her career takes her across the UK and overseas, including appearances at Gatecrasher, The Gallery at Turnmills, Pams House in Norwich, Slinky at Westfest Festival, Escape in Swansea, Passion in Coalville and Tranzaction. Outside the UK, she plays in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur on the Slinky Asia tour, on the Smirnoff Experience tour in India, and at clubs in Canada, South America, Mexico, Indonesia, Malaysia, Dubai, Australia and New Zealand.
Ibiza and residencies
In Ibiza, she becomes a regular guest at several major nights and holds a weekly main room residency at Judgement Sundays at Eden from 2005 to 2007. She also holds a summer residency at Majorca’s BCM for her own night, Angels of Funk, which runs for four years and makes her the first female DJ to hold a long-running residency at the club. She is also the main resident DJ and promoter of Charlys Angelz, described as a successful all-female DJ event that runs for seven years in Ibiza, with her playing every edition. Angels of Funk later joins forces with Dirty Little Funkers for touring nights.

The track is licensed to four compilation albums and receives support from radio and print, including plays on Dave Pearce’s Dance Anthems and coverage in IDJ, Mixmag and M8.
Her follow-up single, “Echoed Kisses”, is also released on Illuminate Records with a Paul Kershaw remix and receives similar support from Dave Pearce’s Dance Anthems, MOS Radio and Galaxy. It is also chosen as recommended tune of the month in IDJ. She then remixes Solstice’s “Edge of the Ocean”, with the package signed to Solarstone’s Insatiable label. Later solo tracks include “Eternal Dream” on Drizzly and “Silver Whispers” on Insatiable, and “Shape Up” is signed to Recoverworld Group for release on Flux Delux.
