Vibe Tribe

Vibe Tribe is a psytrance project from Kiryat Gat, Israel. It is the work of Russian-born Israeli producer Stas Marnyanski and, formerly, Elmar Ivatarov. The project is active from 2002 to 2022.

Background

Stas Marnyanski begins producing electronic music at the age of 13. After four years of experimentation and study, he starts his professional career and then begins appearing on compilation releases. Vibe Tribe becomes associated with Israeli psytrance and releases tracks on compilations issued by labels including Utopia Records, Neurobiotic Records, Shiva Space Technology, Turbo Trance Records, B.N.E Records, Crystal Matrix, Spun Records and Noga Records, among others.

Albums and releases

The debut album, Melodrama, appears in 2004. The second studio album, Wise Cracks, follows in 2006. A third featured studio album is completed in 2011. Vibe Tribe also remixes Infected Mushroom’s “Shakawkaw”, which appears as a bonus track on the LP edition of the group’s album Converting Vegetarians on YoYo Records in 2004.

Membership

The project is credited to Stas Marnyanski and, formerly, Elmar Ivatarov. Other names associated with the project include Kiavash Amiri, who is listed in connection with Melodrama.
