Vert:X is the creative vehicle of a composer and multi-instrumentalist named Neil. The project first appears in 2006, and its debut album, a.f.m.o.m.a.h.e., follows in 2007. A second album, Ggantija, comes out in 2009.

Vert:X plays psychedelic rock with space rock and krautrock influences. The project is described as working with slabs of mono-chord space rock, using heavily distorted and phased guitars, psych-glissando solos and deep delay theremin sounds.

In 2009, Vert:X performs at the Sonic Rock Solstice in Wales, alongside a range of other acts associated with psychedelic, space rock and krautrock.
