Venice

Venice is a Californian rock band from Venice, United States, active since 1977. The group starts with cousins Michael Lennon and Kipp Lennon, with Michael’s brother Mark Lennon joining in 1978 and Kipp’s brother Pat Lennon joining in 1980. The line-up consists of Michael Lennon, Mark Lennon, Pat Lennon and Kipp Lennon.

The band’s sound is described as part of the “Southern California sound” of the 1970s, with comparisons to the Eagles and Crosby, Stills and Nash. Their music places them within rock, while they are also associated in broader tagging with hardcore, folk and pop rock. Venice tours the Netherlands regularly and is noted as being particularly popular there.
