Uncle Frank

Uncle Frank is a Leicester group active since 2004. It is the musical project of Frank Benbini and Naim Cortazzi, and is presented as an eight-piece band drawing on a larger pool of musicians. Benbini, who is also associated with Fun Lovin’ Criminals, fronts the act.

The group’s style brings together elements of funk, rock and comedy performance, with its music and presentation described through references to Burt Bacharach, Prince, Tommy Cooper and Benny Hill. Its live shows include original songs alongside jokes and staged stunts, and the act is known for selling out performances.

Uncle Frank is associated with Make It Nice Records. It is also linked to the album Love Lion.
