Twisted Species

Twisted Species is a thrash metal band from Warsaw, Poland, active since 2018. The group also fits within technical thrash metal and is listed with hard rock, alternative rock, rock and grunge among its tags.

The band’s line-up includes Dave, Stu, Ralph and Luke. Their earlier description presents the group as bringing together different musical backgrounds: Dave and Stu draw on grunge, especially the Seattle sound, Ralph approaches the music from a metal perspective, and Luke, who is classically trained on guitar, adds punk and hip hop elements.

Twisted Species forms in 2009 according to the band’s own description and develops a style built from those influences into what it presents as a hard-working rock and metal sound. It appears on radio, takes part in charity events, and focuses on promoting a rock/metal identity.

The group is also associated with plans for a first studio album and with activity in the Midlands, specifically Shropshire, in its earlier description.
