Twenty Twenty

Twenty Twenty is an American pop punk group from the United States. The group consists of Erney Chaney, Ron Collins and Roscoe Meek.

Formation and early activity

The band starts with Cambridge brothers Sam Halliday and Jack Halliday, who write and play music together from college. After finishing university, they decide to focus on music and begin working with rtb management after sending demo recordings. They are then introduced to Son Studios in White Notley, Essex in October 2008, where they meet Sonny Watson-Lang, who sessions on drums and percussion for a four-track EP. The recordings progress quickly, and Watson-Lang joins the band after hearing the results. The name Twenty Twenty is then chosen by the three musicians, and they return to the studio to record a larger set of tracks.

Career

Twenty Twenty goes on to play headline tours and support acts including McFly, Selena Gomez and Scouting For Girls. The group also appears at the O2 Arena alongside The Saturdays, Ironik, Eliza Doolittle, The Wanted and Tinchy Stryder.

Releases

The group’s first official single, World’s Apart, is released in 2010 and reaches number 72 in the UK singles chart.
