Truckers Of Husk

Truckers Of Husk are a Cardiff-based math rock band. They first appear live in May 2006 as support for Lightning Bolt. The original line-up includes Hywel Evans, formerly of the Brothers Grimm and the Welsh noisecore group Jarcrew, along with Dane Campbell and Todd Campbell, both from Cardiff band Said Mike. Evans is also credited as a songwriter for Future Of The Left.

Career

The band plays extensively in Cardiff and builds a local following through support slots with acts including Future Of The Left, Truman's Water and Battles. In mid-2007, the line-up changes to include Ben on bass, Jimmy on cello and Rhodri Thomas, formerly the drummer in Jarcrew. In 2010, Kelson Mathius, formerly singer in Jarcrew and bassist in Future Of The Left, joins the group.

Releases

Truckers Of Husk release their first EP, Physical Education, in 2008 on the Cardiff label My Kung Fu.
