Trippy Wicked
Trippy Wicked & the Cosmic Children of the Knight forms in early 2006 in St. Albans, England, with Chris West, Pete Holland and Paul Fryer. The group plays a blend of stoner rock, doom metal, sludge and blues.
Early releases and line-up changes
In its first two years, the band writes a large number of songs, plays many live dates and records several demo CDs, including Make like a Rock and Roll. The line-up changes several times during this period. In January 2008, the group reduces to drums and guitar, with Chris West and Pete Holland as the core members. In that format, it records and self-releases Imaginarianism and makes two videos: a cover of Skip James’s Hard Time Killin Floor Blues and a video for Evil, a track from the album.
Later line-up
In autumn 2008, the line-up becomes complete again with the addition of bass player Dicky King, who has previously played in the UK doom band Olde Crone.
