Triggah

Triggah is a Filipino rapper from the Philippines. He works across a broad range of styles, including blues, funk, hip hop, jazz and reggae. He does not have formal music training, although he studies at the Royal Academy at one point and has a father who plays the violin.

Career and background

Before focusing on music, Triggah works in teaching, including teaching religion to secondary school pupils in Wales, and also works on North Sea oil rigs, where he refers to himself as “Triggah the Rigger.” He describes music as his true vocation.
