Trevor Moss and Hannah Lou

Trevor Moss and Hannah Lou are a husband-and-wife songwriting and performance duo. The group is active from 2007 and consists of Trevor Deeble and Hannah Deeble.

Background

Before forming as a duo, they release the album Indigo Moss with their band of the same name in 2007. After that release, they decide to continue as Trevor Moss and Hannah Lou. Their work sits within folk, acoustic, country and alternative music.

London folk scene

In 2008, they establish a folk club in London called The Lantern Society. The following year, it also becomes the home of Lantern Society Radio Hour, a bimonthly show hosted by Trevor Moss. The programme features live performances, interviews with artists and early plays of new music by The Lantern Players.

Recordings and radio play

Three singles are released from Indigo Moss, and the releases bring the songwriting partnership significant national radio play. Consecutive singles receive record of the week status on BBC Radio 2’s Radcliffe and Maconie and Phil Jupitus shows.

Collaborations

In 2008, they join Grand Drive’s Danny George Wilson in The Champions of the World, a psychedelic country-rock collective.
