Treetop Flyers

Treetop Flyers are a London-based five-piece group active from 2009, playing a form of folk rock that also draws on indie folk, indie rock, Americana and roots-oriented rock. Their sound is described as folk-tinged and linked to the Laurel Canyon tradition, with a strong emphasis on live performance.

Early releases and development

The group’s debut EP, To Bury The Past, appears in 2009. From that point, they build a reputation through live shows and continue to gather momentum as a working band on the UK circuit.

Live recognition and festival work

Treetop Flyers win a place in the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition and go on to play at Glastonbury on the Other Stage. Their profile is also tied to a run of festival appearances, including Hop Farm, Feis and Wood.

Singles and label activity

Their single Things Will Change is set for release through Communion Records, and the band marks the release with a launch show at the Borderline in London. They also tour with Duke Spirit, adding to their live schedule and wider exposure.
