Tommy Sparks

Tommy Sparks is a Swedish electronic and indie artist associated with disco and new wave. He builds a live reputation in the UK, first touring with Bloc Party, where he stands in for bassist Gordon, and then appearing as support for Bloc Party and The View.

Releases and collaborations

Sparks releases the single “I’m a Rope” in 2009, and his debut album appears on Island Records in the same year. His best-known singles include “I’m a Rope”, “She’s Got Me Dancing” and “Miracle”. He also works with Liam Howlett on the track “Disko Punk”, which is intended for inclusion in The Prodigy’s album package.

Remixes and other activity

He remixes singles by White Lies and Lady Gaga, and is also described as being in a band called Health Club.
