To Kill A King

To Kill A King is a British indie pop and indie rock group from the United Kingdom, active since 2009. The band is based in London and includes Ralph Pelleymounter, James Ball, Ben Jackson, Grant McNeill and Josh Taffel.

The group takes its name from a line in Hamlet. Ralph Pelleymounter says the title appeals to the image of Claudius killing King Hamlet by pouring poison into his ear, and to the way that idea connects with music.
