Tin Foil Hats
Tin Foil Hats is an electronic music project active since 2002, making music with both hardware and software. The sound is described as a mix of Italo disco, old-school electro and synthpop, with techno influences.
The project has been runner-up twice in the Vinylized contest. It also receives positive feedback over two years at Demolition during ADE from Dave Clarke, Kevin Saunderson, DJ Pierre, Niels Brands and Dylan Hermelijn. Tin Foil Hats contributes to the Dirty compilations in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
The project has a strong interest in analogue equipment, especially the Roland Juno 60, while also using non-analogue tools when they produce the right sound.
