Tim and Sam's Tim and the Sam Band with Tim and Sam are a four-piece multi-instrumentalist band from Manchester, formed in 2006. Their music sits within indie folk, with instrumental, ambient and post-rock elements.

Releases

The band self-release the EP Put Your Slippers On in November 2008. Their debut album Life Stream follows and includes a mix of their instrumental material and, for the first time, vocals.

Activity and reception

The group plays hundreds of shows across the UK. In Manchester, they receive praise from figures including Peter Hook and Stephen Fretwell, and their recordings are played frequently by Steve Lamacq, John Kennedy and Huw Stephens on national radio.
