Tiger Please
Tiger Please is a Cardiff alternative rock band that begins as a five-piece in 2008. Its sound is described as indie and alternative, and its stated influences include U2, Sigur Rós, Kings of Leon, John Mayer and Counting Crows. The group remains active and later changes its name to The People The Poet.
Releases and label
The band signs to Walnut Tree Records in 2009. It releases its debut EP, They Don’t Change Under Moonlight, and later records a second EP, Seasons.
Touring and festivals
Tiger Please tours with Kids In Glass Houses, InMe, Twin Atlantic and Funeral For A Friend. In 2010 the band tours the United Kingdom and appears in the Red Bull tent at Download Festival and on the Jägermeister stage at Sonisphere Festival.
