Tide Lines

Tide Lines are a four-piece band from the Scottish Highlands, formed in 2016 and active since then. The group consists of Fergus Munro, Robert Robertson, Alasdair Turner and Ross Wilson.

Their music combines folk with rock, electronic elements and lyrics that draw on escapist themes. It is described in terms of rousing sing-alongs, anthemic lift-off and wide-eyed wonder. The band writes most of its original material in English, while still making reference to its Gaelic heritage.

Their album Eye of the Storm reaches number 12 in the UK Album Chart in its first week in May 2020 and also tops the Scottish and Independent album charts. In 2019, the band is named the “Rising Sound of Scotland” at the Nordoff Robbins Scottish Music Awards. Around the same period, it sells out the 1,900-capacity Barrowland Ballroom in five minutes.
